Influencing the influencers from Ponte Vedra to Madrid.
Dirck T. Schou, Jr., Taqtile Co-founder – Microsoft’s Global Sports Innovation Center (GSIC), of which we are now a member, is based in Madrid and an incubator for some of the world’s most innovative technology firms, all of which have been tasked by Microsoft to create a new ecosystem of technology solutions related to sports. For fans and athletes, this should come as some pretty exciting news!
Together with our BD and MR/VR Product lead, Kelly Malone, I recently traveled to Madrid, where we conducted 200+ HoloLens demos for members of the GSIC, just a few days after providing 300+ demos in Ponte Vedra, Fla., during the PGA Tour’s Player’s Championship. It was our first visit to the GSIC, which is located right next to the Barclaycard Center, where Madrid’s professional basketball team (also named Real Madrid, like the futbal team) holds court.
