Manufacturing Quality – Taqtile has released version 2.0 of its assistive reality work platform, Manifest Maker. The expansion provides improved artificial intelligence (AI) integrations and improvements to its ability to display instructional augmented reality (AR) visualisations. The latter allows frontline workers, like repair crews, to utilise step-by-step instructional guides.
“Supporting Apple Vision Pro and its game-changing spatial computing capabilities is going to make it easier to create superior work instructions that will make deskless employees more effective and more efficient,” said John Tomizuka, Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer at Taqtile. “With the addition of AI and other technical enhancements, the new version of Manifest Maker is more powerful, simpler to use, and a more valuable option for industrial users.”
As part of the new upgrade, new hardware optimisations were included with industrial users in mind, like the new integration with Apple Vision Pro, iPad, and iPhone devices. The added genAI features allow the platform to create linear, procedural step-by-step guidance visualisations automatically based on pre-recorded video footage of workers performing procedures.
Additionally, improvements to the integration and utilisation of detailed 3D models have also been made. Mentors can now leverage 3D visualisations of training resources to further workers’ skills. Users can now also take photographs of industrial objects with Apple devices, the solution will then turn these real-life photographed objects into a 3D learning tool, or digital twin.
